What is the non-payment of a toll fee?

In some cases it may occur that the toll due is not paid, in whole or in part. Failure to pay results in the issuance of a Report (certificate of transit / receipt) for Non-payment.

What can be paid in this section

In this section you can conveniently pay Reports of Non-Payment issued by the following companies from your home:

receipts: directly at booths or with a reminder letter sent by registered post.

Payments for which the entry toll station must be self-certificed can also be paid on line.

Terms and Conditions of Payment

The unpaid toll can be paid without additional charges within 15 days of the date of issue. Following this period, administration fees (Art. 176/11 bis of the Highways Code) will be added to the amount payable. If the amount owed is still not paid, debt recovery services will be activated.
This will result in additional charges for the debtor (Art. 373 Highways Regulations). In this case, moreover, the relative documentation may be forwarded to the Italian Highway Police for administrative sanctions for not paying the due toll, as per article 176, comma 11 and 21, of the Italian Highway Code. The amount due varies from €85,00 to €338,00 and 2 points may be removed from the transgressor's driving license.

Policy pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 1.	DATA CONTROLLER Pursuant to current legislation on privacy (Article13 of European Regulation 2016/679 the “GDPR”), please find below information on the processing of your personal data, provided for the online payment of “Toll Debt Payment Transactions”, as well as data provided for the purpose of issuing the invoice for said payment; said data are collected and may be used and processed, on paper and electronically, by means of the employees responsible for their processing and for the sole purposes related to payment management by the following highway concessionaire companies, each for the routes for which they are responsible, as independent Data Controllers: •	Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A.; Via Alberto Bergamini 50 00159 Rome •	Raccordo Autostradale Valle d'Aosta S.p.A., Via Alberto Bergamini 50 00159 Rome •	   Tangenziale di Napoli S.p.A, Via Giovanni Porzio, 4 -Centro Direzionale Isola A/7- 80143 Naples; •	Società Autostrada Tirrenica p.A., Via Alberto Bergamini 50 00159 Rome. the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Autostrade per l’Italia S.p.A. is domiciled for the position at the company’s registered office; the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Raccordo Autostradale Valle d'Aosta S.p.A.,is domiciled for the position at the company's registered office; the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Tangenziale di Napoli S.p.A. is domiciled for the position at the company’s registered office; the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Società Autostrada Tirrenica p.A. is domiciled for the position at the company's registered office. . Personal data shall also be collected by CartaSì, also as independent Data Controller, for the charging of the toll amounts payable to the Concessionaire Companies referred to above for transits made on the respective routes. 2. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED The data processed by the Companies referred to in section 1. include common data. 3. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASES OF PROCESSING Data are processed for the purpose of the online payment of the “Toll Debt Payment Transaction”, the processing of the payment receipt and/or production and submission of any invoices requested. The legal bases of the processing are as follows: i) legal obligation; ii) consent. The provision of data is mandatory for the aforementioned payment of the “Online Debt Payment Transaction”, for the processing of the receipt of payment and/or for the production and submission of any invoices requested; therefore, the non-provision, partial provision or incorrect provision of said data could make it impossible to carry out these activities. 4.	PROCESSING METHOD Data are processed in accordance with the current regulations by means of manual, IT and computer tools, using logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes, in order to ensure the confidentiality and security of said data. 5. DATA RETENTION TIME Your Personal Data shall be retained only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, in accordance with the principle of minimisation pursuant to Article 5.1.c) of the GDPR. 6. DATA RECIPIENTS Within the Companies referred to in section 1, the individuals responsible for data processing and authorised, by each independent Data Controller, to carry out processing operations as part of the aforementioned activities may become aware of said personal data. The aforementioned third parties (parent companies/subsidiaries involved or Third-Party Companies) required to process information for the same purposes referred to in section 3, referred to as “Data Processors” may become aware of your data. The administrative activities related to the online payment service and, specifically, the processing of the payment receipt and the production and submission of any invoices requested, are carried out on behalf of the highway concessionaire companies, Autostrade per l'Italia, Raccordo Autostradale Valle d'Aosta, Tangenziale di Napoli and Società Autostrada Tirrenicada: Youverse S.p.A., with registered office in Rome, at Via A. Bergamini 50, 00159, Rome, appointed as Data Controller b the Concessionaires. The IT hosting activities and online management of the debt payment transaction are carried out, on behalf of the highway concessionaire companies referred to above, by: - Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A., with registered office in Rome, at Via A. Bergamini 50, 00159 Rome, appointed as Data Controller. The full list of parties appointed as Data Processors is available from the DPO. In no case shall your personal data be disclosed. 7.	RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS Lastly, please be informed that Articles 15-22 of the GDPR grant data subjects the opportunity to exercise specific rights; data subjects can obtain, from the Data Controller: access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, withdrawal of consent and the portability of data concerning them. Data subjects are also entitled to object to data processing. In the event that the right of objection is exercised, the Data Controller reserves the right not to proceed with the request and, therefore, to continue with the processing, in the event of compelling legitimate reasons to proceed with the processing that prevail over the interests, rights and freedom of the data subject. The above rights may be exercised by sending an informal request to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the following addresses: - Youverse S.p.A: dpo.youverse@pec.autostrade.it., using the specific forms provided by the Data Controller on the website www.autostrade.it.
